Once again, one of Grimsby’s oldest smokehouses Alfred Enderby, achieves highest possible accolade at the Guild of Fine Foods annual Great Taste Awards.
Judged by over 500 industry experts, Alfred Enderby Grimsby Traditional Smoked Salmon has been awarded 3 stars for great taste and featured as one of The Times newspapers top 50 recommended food products of 2020.
With outstanding comments across the board, the panel wrote “absolutely stunning”, “unbelievable texture, supple and tender”, “melts in the mouth”, “excellent salmon, obviously fresh, well prepared and of fine quality” contented owner Patrick Salmon said “When it comes to taste especially, we’re always confident that our products will stand out for all the right reasons because we’re dedicated to sourcing the best quality, fresh produce, selecting the finest wood blend and slowly smoking overnight in our 100 year old smokehouses.”
