BevExpo (incorporating Cellar to Seller and BrewEx) has launched a new app designed to give attendees access to exclusive content and information throughout the Expo. The app is now available to download and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
Over 100 companies are expected to take part in BevExpo 2019, which will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 25th and 26th June.
The BevExpo app will feature live updates before and during the trade-only event, and allow people to share their experiences with other users. Letting visitors know what they can expect at BevExpo 2019, the app will also provide an exclusive first look at this year’s seminar programme.
Encouraging people to make the most of the Expo, Ruth Evans, Chief Executive at the Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Suppliers Association (BFBi), said: “BevExpo is one of the most exciting dates in the calendar for everyone involved in the beverage sector, and we are doing everything we can to ensure delegates enjoy an unforgettable experience.
“With the app, visitors will have everything they need to plan their day, browse exhibitors, seminars, maps, and general show info. With an integrated social feed, attendees will also be able to post photos and comments, and provide feedback to the organisers. Integral to the new app, our new Book & Meet system will also allow registered delegates to book appointments directly with exhibiting companies at a mutually convenient time. And, if anything changes, we can send instant updates and schedule changes to keep everyone in the loop.
“We strongly encourage anyone attending BevExpo to download the app and enhance their event experience”.
Hosting some of the industry’s most prominent operators, among others, the Bev Expo 2019 exhibition line-up already includes The Institute of Brewing and Distilling and Soft Drinks International. Exhibiting companies have the opportunity to present and contribute to BevExpo’s seminar programme which will run alongside the exhibition. The full seminar programme will be released on the app shortly.
The app also has details of the Dhillon’s social evening where exhibitors and attendees of BevExpo 2019 can enjoy some of the best craft beer in the world in a relaxed and tasteful atmosphere. Tickets cost £24 and include two free drinks, food and entertainment. Tickets to the Dhillon’s social evening can be purchased at the event, when registering online, or on the door.
The BevExpo app is powered by Yapp which can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. Once installed, visitors to BevExpo should select ‘add an existing Yapp’ and enter the id: BEVEXPO2019.
Drinks manufacturers can attend BevExpo free of charge, while suppliers to the industry will be charged a £50 fee. Visitors who sign up and attend BevExpo 2019 are also in with the chance to win some great prizes including an iPad, a flat screen TV, and a set of Bluetooth headphones.
