CNR Food Istanbul, CNR Ambalaj, and Be My Franchise? on the Same Platform

Global giants leading the food industry impatiently await the historic gathering at CNR. Hosting more than 2.000 brands from over 20 countries, CNR Food Istanbul will welcome more than 2.500 international buyers together with the concurrent events, CNR Ambalaj and Be My Franchise? National pavilions including Uzbekistan, Somalia, Czechia, Lebanon, Cameroon, and Jordan will participate in the exhibition. CNR Food Istanbul will be home for Special Beverages and Gourmet Special Section once again this year. Domestic and international alcoholic beverage producers will come together with over 2.500 buyers at the special section. 

One of the most prominent gatherings of the global food industry, CNR Food Istanbul – Food and Beverage Products, Food Processing Technologies Fair, gears up to start with a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). Organized by CNR Holding subsidiary, Istanbul Trade Fairs, with the support of TGDF (Federation of Food & Drink Industry Associations of Turkey), TUGIDER (All Food Foreign Trade Association), PAKDER (Association of Agricultural Products, Grains, Pulses Processing and Packaging Manufacturers), the Ministry of Trade and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey), the exhibitions will visitors at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center between September 1-4, 2021. 

Business volume of billions of dollars 

Over 2.500 international buyers will take part in the exhibition, which will host more than 2.000 brands from around 20 countries this year. The exhibition, to be visited by thousands of industry professionals, will add a new dimension to global trading by gathering producers and buyers at bilateral B2B meetings. Featured as one of the most prominent industries of the Turkish economy thanks to its added value and trading activities, the Turkish food and beverage industry shows enormous attention to the exhibition with its industry-leading companies. Companies have considerably great interest in the exhibition. Companies including Uzbekistan, Somalia, Czechia, Lebanon, Cameroon, and Jordan will exhibit with their national pavilions. 

Special beverages and gourmet special section will enliven the exhibition 

CNR Food Istanbul will draw attention with Special Beverages and Gourmet Special Section once again this year. More than 2.000 brands from over 20 countries will be hosted at the special section, to be organized upon the official approval by the Department of Tobacco and Alcohol of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The special section, enlivening the exhibition with many special tasting events, will make significant contributions to trading. Producing and importing companies will also participate in the special section, to be visited by buyers of domestic and international hypermarket chains, executives of all the 5-star hotels and first-class resorts in Turkey serving for the tourism sectors, owners of top-class restaurants and bars.  

The packaging industry to introduce products 

CNR Ambalaj Istanbul – Food Processing, Filling & Packaging Technologies Special Section, taking place concurrently with CNR Food Istanbul, draws the attention of exhibitors. Displaying food processing technologies, food packaging machinery and equipment, corrugated board, paper, cardboard package, plastic and flexible package, complimentary packaging products, the special section will bring together food and beverage producers once again this year. Hundreds of brands by over 50 industry-leading companies will introduce their products at the special section, expecting visits from thousands of industry professionals.

Be My Franchise? to gather entrepreneurs

Be My Franchise? – Franchising and Dealership Trade Fair, organized by Medya Fors with the support of UFRAD (Turkish Franchising Association), will take place concurrently with CNR Food Istanbul this year. The exhibition will welcome over 200 brands and more than 30 thousand industry professionals from 90 countries this year. The franchising industry, reaching a business volume of 43 billion dollars in Turkey with over 2.000 brands and more than 60.000 chain stores, will be represented with all the chains ranging from raw materials to producers, importers, wholesalers, and organized retailing. Brands that intend to elevate through franchises and dealerships and look for new business partners will gather with entrepreneurs at the exhibition. 

HES code requirement for participation in exhibitions

CNR Holding, leading the industry with more than 40 exhibitions held annually, has secured the healthcare of its exhibitors and visitors at exhibitions and adopted a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) to remove potential risks. Accordingly, the entrance and exit points of exhibitions have been rearranged. Body temperature is checked at exhibition entrances. External air is used in ventilation systems and the air inside is kept clean permanently. The number of people at the exhibition venue in the same period of time is restricted. Exhibitors, visitors, and staff members are requested to share their HES codes at exhibition entrances.
