With many of the industry’s most prominent operators attending this year’s BevExpo, a new Book & Meet system has been launched to allow registered delegates to book appointments directly with exhibiting companies at a mutually convenient time.
BevExpo (incorporating Cellar to Seller and BrewEx) brings all sectors of the beverage industry together and enables manufacturers, suppliers and brand owners to meet, network, learn, and celebrate excellence throughout the supply chain. Seminar areas, embraced within the exhibition stand area, will deliver presentations on products, equipment and services throughout the chain – from raw materials and ingredients to packaging, dispense and point of sale.
Over 100 companies are expected to take part in the two-day trade-only event, which will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 25th and 26th June.
The new Book & Meet system offers one-to-one slots for both visitors and exhibitors who are looking to maximise their event experience and time. The system will help to avoid the rush that tends to ensue before and at the start of events as delegates compete to book appointments with key sector operators. Any meetings agreed between parties will not be visible by other users of the system.
Commenting on the new system, Ruth Evans, Chief Executive at the Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Suppliers Association (BFBi), said: “The ability to interact with potential suppliers or customers is hugely important at events such as BevExpo. But networking can be tricky. It’s not always easy to arrange a suitable time, even when you know who you want to talk to.
“The BevExpo Book & Meet system provides easier access to exhibitors and relieves some of the pressure of introducing yourself to people who might be strangers. It also puts attendees of the Expo in charge of their own event experience.
“BevExpo is one of the most important dates in the calendar for everyone involved in the beverage sector. Anyone planning to attend this year’s event should register now to secure their pass. You don’t want to miss the chance to book a one-to-one slot with your ideal customers, prospects, suppliers and partners”.
Drinks manufacturers can attend BevExpo free of charge, while suppliers to the industry will be charged a £50 fee. Visitors who sign up and attend BevExpo 2019 are also in with the chance to win some great prizes including an iPad, a flat screen TV, and a set of Bluetooth headphones.
