OEM Automatic, the country’s leading supplier of components for industrial automation, are set to return to PPMA and will be showcasing the latest and most comprehensive range of cable management solutions from three of Europe’s leading manufacturers.
“Cable management is an area where we’re seeing sustained growth. The continued automation of industrial processes means components require more connections than ever before. Whether that’s to supply power or to provide feedback to other components and users alike, everything in a production line can now be seen as a data source. With more automation often comes the required management of hoses, air pipes and conduits.
In AGRO, Conta-Clip and Flexa, we’re working with Europe’s leading manufacturers in this area, each bringing their own flavour of industry expertise.” Anthony Wrighton, Business Area Manager, Panel.
Germany’s Conta-Clip produces a revolutionary range of cable entry systems in the KDS product line. The solution offers quick and easy installation into control panels or machinery of preassembled or non-assembled cables, with or without connectors. The secure frame and innovative design sealing blocks provide IP66 protection with a secure strain relief.
Relatively new to OEM is AGRO, manufacturer of an extensive selection of high quality cable glands. The Progress range ensures 360° strain relief, this maintains tightness and sealing over time even in harsh applications. OEM also stock and supply AGRO’s EMC option which features a unique connection method that is easier to install on shielded cables, particularly beneficial in applications susceptible to electromagnetic interference.
German market leader Flexa, OEM’s newest partner and producer of flexible cable conduits, will also be featured on OEM’s PPMA stand. Available in metal and plastic, the conduits are highly resilient, able to be applied in temperatures from -60°C to +300+°C and rated up to IP69K. Their extensive range of plastic connectors simply push onto the tubing and can be quickly dismounted without the use of any tools.
“We’re very excited about showcasing all three of our partnerships at once. What sets OEM apart from other component suppliers is our industry expertise and ability to provide complete solutions. By adding AGRO and Flexa to our product range, I feel like we’re now in a position to offer a complete cable management solution, no matter the application,” Anthony Wrighton, Business Area Manager, Panel.
