Primula expands range with four new flavours, launching this month

Primula, the world’s first spreadable cheese, has revealed four exciting new flavours that will be available to purchase this month. The new entrants into the cheese brand’s line of products are Perfectly Plant, Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion, Cheese ‘n’ Sriracha and Burger Cheese.

With 14% of adults now maintaining a meat-free diet, as well as a projected rise in the number of flexitarians in 2022, Perfectly Plant is the first plant-based cheese available in an easy-to-use tube format. In an independent survey, 8 out of 10 preferred the taste of Primula Perfectly Plant to currently available competitor products.

Available from Morrisons next month with an RRP of £1.60, Perfectly Plant seeks to offer a convenient and tasty alternative for those living a plant-based and flexitarian lifestyle.

Primula’s Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion flavour is a healthy alternative to normal cheese with the same amount of delicious flavour.

High in protein and calcium while containing no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, this new flavour contains 40% less fat than the rest of the cheese range, so consumers can enjoy the same delicious creamy taste along with the health benefits it provides. The flavour will be available in Asda with an RRP of £1.60.

Joining the other new flavours is Cheese ‘n’ Sriracha launching in both Asda and Morrisons. Cheese ‘n’ Sriracha brings a hot and smoky kick to your favourite dishes, with a hint of sweetness. Containing no artificial colours or preservatives and a source of protein and calcium.

Burger Cheese was given a limited-edition release in Home Bargains during September 2021. Following a successful launch, the line will be available in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s in the coming weeks with an RRP of £2.50. It promises to provide consumers with an authentic burger cheese taste – no drive-thru required. The largest tube in the Primula Cheese range, this epic 290g tube is perfect for BBQs and for sharing throughout the summer season.
